Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - My Festive Shopping!

Hello to all Splinterlands warriors!
Original Challenge announcement
This time, for the first time since the end of the season, my Glint Rewards balance reached over 8,000. That's why I thought it was time to take my favourite activity (shopping) at ββthe Glint Shop a step further. In this challenge, I'm going to tell you about that experience, and it was absolutely amazing, as the shop has a whole new collection this time around.

During last week's Community Engagement Challenge, I read about a new update that would change the game's rewards system. I didn't understand the post or the changes much because it was beyond my understanding of the game.
Today, when I went into the game to write about this social media challenge, the first thing I saw on the screen was the Season End rewards, which were quite nice. Seeing them, I thought, I'd know if I was rich enough to purchase an Epic Draw in the Glint Shop. And there, at the entrance of the Glint Shop, I saw this whole new collection.

At first, I thought these were all different individual cards that could be purchased using the Glint currency shown below, and I was about to buy one, but no, these are just skins to make your beautiful cards festival-ready.π Well, this too could be a once-in-a-blue-moon chance and then who doesn't want to stand out in the crowd? But then I looked at my deck and realised I didn't have enough cards to plan on buying new designer clothes. So I looked at EPIC Draw, which I haven't purchased even once.

I spent a total of 7500 Glint Coins for the EPIC draw, which is significantly more expensive than the Common and even Rare draws. But I was equally excited about the cards I would receive, but I ended up with this Elf.
Compared to the powerful cards Brave has currently delegated to me, this seems like a very basic card. Furthermore, I won better cards last week from a Rare Draw, which cost much less, so from that perspective, it feels like a waste of 7500 glints. But after spending a few months in the game, I've learned that rulesets have the power to make even your most powerful cards useless and even seemingly useless cards seem most powerful.
So, next time I have to build a team for a low-mana battle, I might use this card. For 6 mana, it seems to have good attack power and good speed. But its best feature is its Opportunity ability, which encourages it to target cards with the least health. The season has ended already, and with the new one, I see an opportunity to play more battles and see how I can do better than last season. This makes the game fun, and I feel its fun and refreshing, also at the same time. Game is a game, and entertainment must be there, which I experience with the splinterlands game.
You won't be able to trade the cards earned in the Glint Shop because they are soulbound, but with the latest changes in the reward system, I think Black and Gold foil cards are fully tradable. You can use them to improve your game and climb the rankings, increasing your rewards percentage. You can't win battles with the same cards for long, so it's important to keep adding better cards to your deck from time to time, as the weather in this game is constantly changing. :)
This is my little game knowledge. I may be wrong, and in that case, I will be happy to learn from you. Thank you! :)
