Talking About XRP In The Sahara

I got to walk in the desert today. It's not too hot but it was quite challenging still. I created the above video during the trek over a few large dunes but the wind noise too much so I list about 75% of the stuff I said. I think a sand storm was also about to kick off which would have been a disaster since I wasn't wearing an "desert wear". I also don't have a camel, so I may have perished had I gotten lost haha.

The Atlantic ocean is surprisingly warm at this time of the year even though it's not quite that hot yet. This portion of the world is know as "Western Sahara". It's a breakaway region of southern Morocco, north of Mauritania. I'm actually on my way to the Canary Islands, via the sea this time. I've been to those islands so many times that I figured I'd do it differently this time. It's quite a lot of fun. This part of the world is quite familiar to me actually. I used to live in Senegal, just south of Mauritania. The climate is the same and, at parts, just as arid. I also speak a little Arabic and French, so I'm able to communicate with the natives.

As I'm typing this, I'm already safe in the Canary Islands haha. It's amazing here. The weather is divinely perfect. 25ºC average is not too hot and perfect for lazying around with a cup of coffee (or whatever you want to drink). The beaches are not too packed yet either. It actually rained today, a rare occurrence in these parts, so It was interesting to see that too.

I like it here so much that I almost moved here before the pandemic but my plans were stopped by Brexit, which meant I could no longer stay here for longer than 3 months at a time - amongst other things. Oh well. I still highly recommend this place for a getaway from England if you're looking for one this year. It's affordable, in Europe (even though geographically in North Africa), and the weather is perfect. Besides, it's only 3.5 to 4 hours flight from London on a budget airline. If you're flexible, you can get flights as low as

Peace & Love,

Adé
