It's Nearly Christmas

We're 3-4 days away from the official start of Winter but today feels like the first proper winter day. I had to go out bright and early so I caught the sunrise with the sun visible through the very thick fog/mist in the air. I enjoy this kind of weather, actually, as long as it's not raining. It's cold and moody with misty cobwebs everywhere.
It makes me want to go on a photo walk though I don't have the time today. It would be the perfect weather, apart from when it actually snows, for a day at a Christmas market. I remember the time when those were rare in the UK. It's German and central European culture that we've adopted here in the here over the years. I'm not sure if it's the absolute first, but the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park was the first time I experienced it. Since the massive success of that venture, every single corner of the UK seems to be hosting a Christmas Market of some kind now; complete with the mulled wine, German sausages, roasting nuts, sweets and so on.
I can't believe we're only about a week away from Christmas Day. I haven't bought a single present yet lol.
Peace & Love,
Adé
