This toy series has the potential of becoming the next Pokemon. This summer, you're likely to see this stuff everywhere. They already have a little cult following amongst some kids that know about it but they will probably become widespread by summer.

One great thing about this game/toy is that it brings the kids of today back into the real world, away from the tablets and phones. I used to play with stuff like this when I was a kid and it's nice to see physical toys coming back. Pokemon was quite huge a few years ago but, sadly, Pokemon go was computer based and even adults were addicted to that stuff. I remember my neighbourhood was turned into zombie-land with people searching for Pokemon via their augmented reality apps.

Talking of which, whatever happened to augmented reality (AR)? Is that still a thing or did we abandon that for Ai?

I'm glad to see that even the Pokemon franchise is getting in this spinner game trend. I think the combination of the two is bound to be a runaway success this summer.
