Too much of sugar is bad.

Congratulations for crossing over from January to the month of February. This is the second year of the month and I just discovered from that this February is a good definition of perfection. It has four Sunday, four Monday, four Tuesday, four Wednesday, four Thursday, four Friday a four Saturday. On this note I celebrate you for coming into the month of perfection.

Let's move to our topic for week 203, episode 1. Sugar Ban. Should sugar be regulated the same way alcohol is regulated? Sincerely speaking I think that this is the right thing to do. Alot of people don't really know the harm we do to ourselves when we just use sugar the way and manner we want do everyday. Sugar is not too good for our health especially for the adults. It is well understood if we give sugar to our children, but for the adult, sugar should be cut down to the minimum level. Aside the sugar we buy in the market, virtually every food we eat today has some quantity of sugar in it.
Placing ban on sugar or even making it unreasonable might help us a little. I was also looking at in which area do we think we need to place a ban on the usage of sugar? Maybe we should consider these few points 👇
- We need to provide public awareness: for me this is the most important aspect of it all. Because sometimes when we place a ban on something and people don't really know the reason why we do that they just ho ahead and do what they want. We need to let the public know the consequences of use sugar in our system.
- Secondly I think we should have limit on advertisement. Just like cigarettes and some other harmful substances that we don't encourage advertising it every, maybe it should be done to sugar too. By so doing people don't get to hear about it most often and they don't get to make demands for it. What people see sometimes informs them. So when they don't get to see much of sugar, they will not use it to much.
- Stop certain age range from using sugar. Though I know that some people still need sugar to stay healthy maybe because of a health condition or something else. But aside that I believe that those who don't really need it and have come of age should be advised not to use it at all. I have tried taken my pap without sugar and because I didn't that for some days when I gave birth to my first child I because used to it. After some time I even forgot how to use sugar when taken tea or pap. Once we get use to something it will be difficult to stop. So, I suggest we teach our people how to get use of life without sugar.
In conclusion, everyone wants to live long and so we need to do what it takes to live Long. To much of sugar intake in jot good for our health.
