JOY COMMET IN THE MORNING.

When we talk about difficult situations in life I think that we have had the worse of it all from the beginning of 2024. Even as I am talking right now I can't even tell how we are surviving it.

When we saw how commodities became very expensive in the last two years, we made our conclusions that things are very hard. Guys I now know that we don't know the meaning of difficulties as at that time. We are gradually understanding what difficulty is all about. We are coming face to face with difficult situations and all we can do right now is to look up to God for help.

This period is when we take this Bible passage very serious. Ps.40.1 - I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. Now we know how to wait. If you refuse to wait on God then you will have to face your problems yourself.

I still don't understand why when you buy things in the morning from the market for#200, you come back in the afternoon to buy that same goods for #250 and then in the evening the price increases to #300. What is happening to us? Who is behind all of these? I can't say. Who changed the the price of the commodity in the afternoon and evening time? Still the same goods. Still the same shop. May God have mercy on us in this country called- Nigeria. Do other countries go through the same hard times just as we see it here? Do prices of goods and services change within hours in other countries? If not. Why are things so different in this country?

Sincerity speaking, this is the most difficult year that I have ever met in my life. And yet the only year that I have encountered God's favor like never before. I see paradox in this year. At the same time when I feel as if we can't cross the red sea, I still see God parting the sea for us to pass. Sometimes in the morning of same day I will be so carried away by all the problems that we have not been able to solve. Then same day in the evening I see God sending help for us. The help will come in such a way that for weeks I won't think of any problem again.

LESSONS FROM THE EXPERIENCES OF THIS YEAR.

• I have been able to trust God more than ever. Someone said that people serve God better when they are faced with situations. I don't want to totally believe that, but it seems like in a way it is true. For me, I have learned this year to so trust in God that whatever that happened I believe that God will make a way.

• No condition is permanent. When difficult situations come it will still go the same way it came. We need to always hold on because things will change for the better. I always say that tough time don't last but tough people do last.

• When gold passes through fire it will bring out it's best. Sometimes God allow us to go through some difficulty in order to bring out the best from us. We don't really know what we have inside of us until when we are pressed to the end of the rope. We have gold inside of us. We only need situations that represents fire to bring out the best in us.

In conclusion, life is full of ups and downs. Which ever one you meet accept it with joy and wait for the best.
